Three years in the vision.Weeks in the making.

Chronoseer is built by one developer in Tampa, Florida. The idea took three years to come into focus. The build took weeks, working side by side with Claude, Anthropic's AI, as a coding and research partner.

One person with a clear vision and the right AI partner can now build what used to take a company.

Why Claude: Anthropic, the company behind Claude, is an American public benefit corporation, so it's legally required to weigh the public good alongside profit. Claude is built to be honest about what it knows and what it doesn't, and even-handed on contested questions. That's the same standard Chronoseer holds its own receipts to.

    FAQ

    Questions

Where does the data come from?

Today the archive holds nearly 29,000 wars, battles, protests and strikes from Wikidata and the Uppsala Conflict Data Program, on a Natural Earth basemap. Every point links to its source, so you can check it yourself. More sources are on the way: see Data sources and licences.

How do I know it's accurate?

Every point carries an evidence label. Today the archive's points are Reported (from a reference dataset, not yet reviewed by us) or Disputed (sources conflict); none is marked Record yet. Open and Community belief are coming. Strong and weak evidence are never mixed up, and the sources are one tap away.

    Is it biased?

Chronoseer doesn't tell you what to think. Every point says where it came from and how strong the evidence is, and every answer says when it goes beyond the archive, so you can weigh it yourself.

    Can I cancel anytime?

Yes. Plans are monthly, and you can cancel whenever you want.

    Who built this?

One developer in Tampa, Florida, working with Claude, the AI made by Anthropic, an American public benefit corporation. Three years of vision, built in weeks.
